Texas Hog Hunts
Hog Hunt Packages
Hog Hunt Information
All hunts come with lodging and include a guide to take you to and from the hunting ranches (semi-guided). The hunts are blind over feeder locations. There are no trophy or per-pound fees.
Texas is renown for its wild hog population and we monitor their locations and travel patterns by trail camera on our ranch. We send trail camera footage to our hunters days before their arrival showing dates and times of hog activity. This way, the hunters know before traveling and arriving that we have done a good job of scouting and that game is available. This also allows know active times so we can position hunters for the best chance for success.
Our feeders are equipped with motion activated lights for night hunting. When motion is detected, they illuminate - only when game is present.
We are committed to making sure you have a good experience and make great memories and we do everything possible to increase your chances at success!
IMPORTANT HOG HUNT INFORMATION
If you book a hog hunt in the fall, it is advised that you bring a portable propane heater and bottles.
Please Note: Many smaller scopes (1" and tactical versions) have difficulty gathering enough light for dusk/night-time hog hunting. We recommend a good optic (At least 30mm/40mm) AND a caliber of at least .270 in order to be successful. .223, 300 BO and even 6.5 have statistically been inferior in dropping hogs.
There are local areas where fishing is available. Please indicate your interest in fishing when booking.
We also offer a third night of lodging and hunting for an additional $250 per hunter.
Mid-day predator hunts are available as well for $200 per hunter (2 hunter minimum) - hunt takes place from 2pm-4pm. Please notify us when booking if you are interested in a predator hunt.
Check-out time is at 3pm on the last day of your booked hunt (Last Calendar day)
Licensing Requirements for Predators: You must go to TPWD office in Wichita Falls, Texas and purchase a license/tag.
Please note that this is a HOG HUNT - we do not allow the shooting of varmints (raccoons, opossums, armadillos, rabbits, squirrels, roadrunners or beavers)
